Warringah golf courses future
Driving the streets there are few areas that give relief from the smelly smoggy air. This street is one of them. Once you hit this street, through one set of lights to the next. You can smell the flowers, and there, take a deep breath.
There is a field on the other side of the road from this golf course. For playing sports, for schools and recreational.
If they do, do anything to this site, they must keep the trees.
There is also a mass of wildlife, like cockatoos and other native birds in this specific area. If they are not within the trees of it, they are perched on the the massive shopping centre of Warringah Mall. (after the third traffic lights). Sad to see & think that that could ever be their only home.
No matter what a map says there is not enough room in this area for the bird life with the removal of these trees.
If anything they should make a sanctuary and create a more tree filled area on a part of the course.
There is currently a movement to protect the land.
Please be a part of it.
They have removed trees in ___________ (near zoo) to extend the road ways both sides.
Mind you, some of those council trees had been protected, so far as, they built around them. The buildings actually were designed to allow the tree and so was the pavement, they have been removed.
Where there is trees there is life. And as you know we need them, they are the filtration system of the earth. Not in a green way, in a reality way.
Further down is the spit bridge. These are main roads that are only getting busier. Meaning a higher carbon input into the air.
Nothing worse than having to play sport with smelly thick air like that around.
Keeping the life there and even growing the plant life would be optimal.
There are some other areas of trees along the way, but nothing that is competent enough to clean up that car fume air, other then when you get to Warringah golf course, and only a short part of that street, in direct correlation with the course (not full course).
I am glad after reading the story about it, that it is the plan to maintain and grow the area in an environmental human friendly way.
Was worrying me.
The new B-Line (Bus) North Shore Introduction
Warringah and North Shore introduced a new bus line. They have fancy train station signs about, in bus stops and new double decker buses that are kitted out. Congratulations.
The double decker is to take on the extra people, less buses. When buses start to get full they will have to change the timetable again. I am glad they chose a double decker instead of two buses, I bet it was on the table though.
A side note: When i was driving over the Harbour bridge last night a yellow bus was also, he was coming from the opposite direction, and was a tilt majorly. I can’t say it was at all safe. I thought it was going to fall on me. If it is the roads issue, those double deckers may have an issue as this was a single level bus.. It was driving towards the Northern Beaches. Near the end of the bridge for him, and near the beginning for me.
The bus time table has changed, and is manipulated for inducing and increasing passengers on other routes.
The amount of time it took to make the original timetable, which everyone is usto. Can’t be forgotten. All you can do is hope that the changes are for the betterment.
We worked out it is not for our civilian betterment, but rather for business.
While bus users are being tossed around and thrown in the deep end. Those who must find your way to work on time, and deal with changes that they took no part in making and with no notification of why they have changed and what the outcome is. Things will be a little stressful for a while.
Remember do not run out in front of buses. Don’t forget. Don’t let the confusion or anger make you reckless.
The goal information would allow some people to digest the havoc and perhaps cause lesser distress in the actual people that ride these buses.
We are thinking it’s to generate more bus movement through the city. However, this is also the last ‘talk’, said by the government. Saying that they do not want cars in the city..
As far as if this bus time table nails it, we don’t know, unless we sit down and study/review it.
Some people are better off and some are falling beneath the weigh side. I don’t like that outcome. So, let’s hope that when things settle down or even now, if important, that bus travellers have not been duped. Because, gov. has responsibilities. Bus travellers are human beings, they have rights.
They have been caroused in to using the public transport system. They deserve RESPECT. It is a bus service not a war. If you can’t get it right and ensure people can get around and your thoughts are if 10 people now can’t catch a bus, too bad. Meanwhile we are hammered to pay bills. So, it is very important and it is not highly intelligent work, it is meticulous and has to be done correctly. You can’t keep throwing people under the bus. No pun intended. And this can’t be swept under the carpet. Life matters.
It is a hard thing to do, It is a huge puzzle. So having adjustments by people and council is not a bad thing. But shouldn’t be ignored if limiting now, a life that now has to change far more then anyone should expect.
Buses and trains take hours and hours of time away from people daily.
The traffic is constant also through every day. These are not, ok things. As the projection gets worse.
People are in traffic for 2/3 longer then they were only 10-15 years ago. And this traffic isn’t humorous traffic this is MAJOR traffic. That causes a 25 minute trip to take an hour and a 45 minute trip taking 1hr 50 minutes. Averages are a 30 minute trip is 2 hours. That trip also occurs, a lot. Alllllll daaaayyyyy looooonnggg. That’s what I oust sit in, in the old peak hours. We thought it would get BETTER not worse. Out of control madness.
The time of traffic 15-20 years ago (which seems long to youngeons not when you have lived worked and driven through it. It doesn’t feel so long, though much change can happen and sometimes nothing changes in that time. Anyway,)
Traffic USTO have a peak HOUR, it doesn’t anymore. It was between 730-830 am and 515-615pm THAT IS ALL. The time in traffic was as bad as what I mentioned above. Today It is ALL day, it had a brief period of around 10am and 1pm of being less. Not anymore. Even at night. It is horrendous. Good luck with that.
Get non hazardous cars on the roads now!
Road Works and maintaining traffic flow on motorways. It is best to NOT stop in traffic, once one person stops you all stop. You have to keep going from 6 to 35km per hour. Average is between 16-22km. Do not go faster up hills, which I found you all doing, then stopping after the hill. If you stop you create congestion. When people are joining the road, be mindful that it is coming up, slow down and leave some car spaces in-between you, in the left and right lanes. When you maintain this movement the traffic will continue. Only thing that holds up traffic and that explains a full stop, with this implemented is traffic lights.
You can all practice it, Because I worked it out years ago, and the traffic is in deep need of it, and i checked and it still works. Remember drivers remain calm. Think, if you are close to the person in front and someone rams u up the back you will go into the car in front.
You should always leave a cars length on the motorway, even if you are not driving the speed. I would say and do 3-5. Everyone joined in and it worked. Did I forget to mention that.. The people have spoken they want this implemented.
It is better for petrol, and better for the flow of carbon.
As you stop & start in the same areas you are making larger thicker stinkier smog in that area, those few metres. You can smell the difference, I mean chock at it. Which is dangerous to people, who live beyond those fences. And your fellow friends in the other cars.
There is a lot of road work being done, everywhere.
